As I was packing my car to leave a wedding at Durham Castle,
I glanced over my shoulder,
the moon was beginning to rise over Durham Cathedral.
I watched the scene for a few moments,
then realised what I had to do.
You see - the groom at the wedding I'd just left - is an astronomer,
and this picture would mean so much to him.
It could be the final picture in his wedding album.
So - with my camera firmly clamped on a tripod,
I made a series of exposures, and I got this picture.
Moonrise over Durham Cathedral.
